Liz Malphrus, MD is a chief resident in plastic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to medical school, she worked in health policy at the National Academies and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (Obama Administration). She is the co-creator of PennMicro, a free virtual microsurgical training course. She shares her ideas and adventures on her instagram @dr.malphrus and her newsletter/podcast Cut & Tell. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband Greg and her cat Louis.
