Christina is a PGY-5 (chief) radiation oncology resident. She grew up in the Midwest and is now doing residency in the southeast. She is passionate about medical education, specifically about promoting healthy workplace culture in residency and fostering a safe learning environment. She is going to be a general radiation oncologist with a specialization in genitourinary and gynecologic malignancies. She also specializes in brachytherapy, a procedure where catheters are placed into tumor (to dwell sealed radiation sources) in an OR setting.
