We’ve received your submission, and we’re genuinely grateful you took the time to apply to the HC Resident Travel Grant.

We don’t take this lightly. Every application will be read and considered with care, attention, and respect for the intention behind it.

While you may not hear from us for a little while (recipients will be announced in early June), we want to acknowledge something important: applying itself takes a certain kind of honesty. A willingness to say, this experience matters to me and I want more from medicine than just surviving it.

Regardless of the outcome, we hope you keep pursuing the things that make you a fuller version of yourself, even in a system that doesn’t always make that easy.

And if you’re not selected this cycle, that does not mean you won’t be considered in the future. This is an ongoing effort, not a one-time thing.
