Hippocratic Collective's
Resident Travel Grants
No strings attached. Residents deserve things too.
If you know us, you know we’re here for the long haul: to change the culture of medicine and medical education, and to support physicians and physicians-in-training however we can.
Because if one of us survives, all of us survive.
The HC Resident Travel Grants are designed to support experiences that help resident physicians grow, not just as trainees, but as people, clinicians, advocates, artists, researchers, and future leaders in medicine.
We believe some of the most meaningful learning happens outside the walls of the hospital: at conferences, on away rotations, through creative work, community projects, research opportunities, leadership programs, or experiences that reconnect you to why you chose medicine in the first place.
What are the Resident Travel Grants?
Two, $750 travel grants awarded each cycle to current medical and surgical residents.
Use them for conferences, courses, creative projects, research opportunities, or anything that will make you a better physician.
Awarded to the residents with the most thoughtful, creative, and honest applications.
Who should apply?
Current residents in any specialty.
Those pursuing experiences that will expand how they think, care, lead, create, or connect within medicine.
Anyone seeking an opportunity that will help them grow not just as a physician, but as a person.
