Progress Notes by
Samiya Abi Jaoude, MD, MSc

Dr Samiya Abi Jaoude is a French-Lebanese neurosurgeon at the Adolphe de Rothschild Foundation Hospital in Paris, specialising in skull base surgery, vascular surgery and cerebrospinal fluid disorders. She trained between Beirut and Paris, building a career shaped as much by resilience as by curiosity. Her path has taken her from the ambition of becoming the first female neurosurgeon in Lebanon to rebuilding a meaningful practice in France : one grounded in rigorous surgery, thoughtful mentorship, and a deep interest in the history and culture of medicine.
